Everything is fine with Kirstein now, I think.  The only side
condition is that you are supposed to access the U.K. Tip only
from the U.K. (some kind of Post Office regulation).

As you may have heard, identification and passwords will be required on TIPS
beginning December 1.  Consequently, I am requesting that they authorize
you as WILKS with password PENZANCE.

Glad that you are enjoying the new scene.  We miss your smiling faces.
Joan and I will try to get through there next summer.  Meanwhile, give
Gerry a pinch for me.

See what you get by being subtle?  Nothing.

Actually, I have no recollection of the arrangements we made and
they don't show up in my notes.  I was assuming that we had operated
on a pay-as-you-go basis as on earlier films, but
our budget statements show no payments, as you have now made clear.

I have requested that a payment of $250 be mailed to you, which is,
I believe, more nearly commensurate with the level of effort involved.
Sorry it took so long.  Next time, give it to me right between the
eyes, or wherever seems appropriate.

Things muddle ahead here.  The hand-eye people now have two arms working
together on some interesting tasks.  Recreationally, we have been seeking
out hot springs in remote places and have found some great ones!
We plan an AI Lab snowshoe trip in Lassen next May, ending in a fabulous warm pool.

Have fun, but don't spend it all in one place.
